Wedding Party

We'd like to introduce the wedding party, comprised of our siblings and close friends. Make sure to tell Paul, Liz, and Erika happy birthday, since all of their birthdays fall within a few days of the wedding!

Bridesmaids

Kathryn Felt
Kathryn is Adrienne's younger sister. She's currently studying piano at Rice's Shepherd School of Music, and she has traveled to many places in the U.S. and Europe to play. Kathryn is also a talented writer.

Rachael Felt
Rachael is Adrienne's younger cousin, and she will be serving as a junior bridesmaid at the wedding. She is the daughter of Gordon and Donna.

Claire Alexander
Claire and Adrienne have been friends since seventh grade. They went to middle school, high school, and college together. Claire stayed on the East Coast, but Adrienne is working on that by telling her tales of nice weather in December. P.S. Claire's getting married soon too!

Elizabeth Bird
Elizabeth and Adrienne suffered through four years of UVA's engineering school together, a friendship forged by late night problem sets and curved exams. They are also former sorority sisters in Gamma Phi Beta. Liz now lives in DC, but they keep in touch.

Erika Chin
Erika and Adrienne both went to UVA, where Erika was a year ahead of Adrienne. (Erika was Adrienne's TA, although as far as she recalls Adrienne didn't show up to section much. Oops.) Erika and Adrienne are now in the same research group at Berkeley. Mark and Adrienne actually met at Erika's birthday party!

Groomsmen

Jason Murphy
Jason is Mark's younger brother. He's a graduate student at UCLA, studying for his PhD in math. He and Mark share a taste in music, especially jazz. Since LA and Berkeley aren't too far apart, Mark and Jason get to see each other fairly often.

Michael Murphy
Mike is Mark's older brother. He's currently a medical student at Tulane in Louisiana. His graduation is a few weeks before the wedding.

Paul Murphy
Paul is Mark's oldest brother. He recently received his MD and PhD from the University of Washington, and he is now doing his first year of residency in Seattle. Around the time of the wedding, he will be moving to San Diego to finish his residency.

Evan Barbre
Evan and Mark were roommates in Silicon Valley. They both like video games and food that can be easily prepared in enormous quantities. Evan is the Official High Fiver of the wedding party, so go find him if you feel the need for a solid high five. Evan also has a sweet motorcycle.

Steven Hanna
Steve and Mark both went to UIUC; they became good friends when they both moved to Berkeley for graduate school. Steve is a talented photographer and owner of two adorable cats. Steve is also in Adrienne's research group, and his friendship with Mark and Adrienne helped them get to know each other.
