What will the weather be like?
Thanks to the Pacific Ocean, the California coast is cooler than most parts of the country during the summer. It will probably be in the high 60s or low 70s in late May, and the evening is likely to be a bit chilly. You should bring a shawl or jacket to keep warm. What is the dress code?Beach-friendly cocktail attire. Women are welcome to wear cocktail dresses or nice sundresses, and men are invited to wear suits or slacks with a jacket and tie. What shoes should I wear at the beach? If you wish to wear your own shoes at the beach, please wear sandals for your own comfort. We'll also provide flip-flops for those who want to temporarily change out of their heels or nice shoes. Going barefoot at the beach is fine, too. The reception is indoors, so please wear shoes for the reception.
Will the wedding be child-friendly?
Children are welcome at the ceremony. For the reception dinner, children under 10 will be served a children's meal in another room, where they will be watched by a babysitter. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies. Children are welcome at the post-dinner games and dancing, although the babysitter will remain available. I have special dietary requirements. We are providing a vegetarian option for guests. If you are allergic to something that appears on the menu, please let one of us know and we can arrange for an alternate meal. We don't want to make anyone sick. Is there really going to be a jello wrestling pit?Yes, but only Evan and Punky are allowed in it. |
